Together with Innovation Center Belgrade, we launched a pilot programme presenting a bioconversion model at our premises in Kotež, with a pilot colony. The programme guide was published in January 2026. The programme is led by Innovation Center Belgrade with support from the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
By 26 June 2024, ten new rearing batches had been started alongside five existing ones at partner Veterinum's pilot centre in Ulcinj, fifteen active batches in total. Mentoring continues.
As part of TRISA, training for 22 participants took place at Hotel Barjaktar and Veterinum's premises. Classroom sessions were combined with a visit to the pilot centre and practical demonstrations.
The announcement of the 2024 World Circular Economy Forum in Brussels included the Belinda Animals and IBISS solution in a dedicated session on using insects to reduce waste.
UNDP announced that Belinda Animals' solution was among five innovations from Serbia selected through the Republic of Serbia's Official Development Assistance initiative to support countries in the region. The selection preceded the delivery of TRISA in Montenegro.
At the international Biotech Future Forum in the Palace of Serbia, we presented the TeM incubator as one of ten companies in the innovation exhibition. Our stand was visited by a delegation led by then Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, and UNDP Serbia featured us in its Green Showroom.
In cooperation with the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković” and with support under the EU for Green Agenda in Serbia initiative, the TeM incubator pilot infrastructure with four climate-controlled chambers was developed.
