Knowledge that can be put to work

New technology becomes useful when people understand how to apply it. Alongside rearing development, we explain procedures, provide practical training and exchange experience with local stakeholders.

Training in Ulcinj

The TRISA training on 23 April 2024 brought together 22 participants: staff and local workers, small-farm representatives and local-government representatives working in agriculture. The programme covered the insect life cycle, rearing organisation, environmental conditions, system management and processing opportunities. A visit to the pilot centre connected presentations with practical operations.

Programme topics

  • Insect life cycle
  • Rearing organisation
  • Environmental conditions
  • System management
  • Processing opportunities
  • Pilot-centre visit and practical demonstration

Participant feedback

Participants showed strong interest in practical application and asked for more hands-on exercises and more on rearing economics. This feedback helps shape future programmes around the people who will operate the technology.

Cooperation in Belgrade

In cooperation with Innovation Center Belgrade, our premises in Kotež, with a pilot colony, are used to present a bioconversion model. The programme introduces the topic to local stakeholders through a guide and public communication of results. It is led by Innovation Center Belgrade with support from Serbia’s Ministry of Environmental Protection.
