Belinda Animals combines production and trading experience with the development of Tenebrio molitor-based solutions. From our base in Belgrade, we develop pilot rearing and processing approaches, work with scientific institutions and transfer practical knowledge to regional partners.
EU for Green Agenda in Serbia
Our plastic-biodegradation solution and the development of the TeM incubator were recognised under the EU for Green Agenda in Serbia programme. The recognition was presented to Belinda Animals by Yakup Beris, UNDP Resident Representative in Serbia.
Our activities include controlled larvae rearing, application development and testing, user training and processing equipment supply. Each requires an understanding of raw materials, operating conditions and customer needs. We bring these capabilities together in projects with a practical purpose.

The TeM incubator was developed with the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković”, with support under the EU for Green Agenda in Serbia initiative. Through TRISA, we transferred rearing technology to Veterinum in Ulcinj, supporting pilot capacity and training local participants.
Cooperation with IBISS on pilot Tenebrio molitor rearing infrastructure and research into insect-assisted plastic biodegradation. Four climate-controlled chambers were installed in 2023.
Transfer of practical Tenebrio molitor rearing knowledge to a partner in Ulcinj: pilot-space preparation, training for 22 participants and operational follow-up, reaching fifteen active rearing batches in June 2024.

Biotech Future Forum · Belgrade, October 2023
At the Biotech Future Forum 2023 in the Palace of Serbia, our stand was visited by a delegation led by then Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, with the Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Dr Jelena Begović. This established contact with the Government of Serbia and started consultations on the regulatory position of insect rearing.

Our team has spent years in manufacturing, quality control, commercial operations and international trade, and now applies that experience to insect rearing and development projects.
